Crazy how July has already elbowed its way in the full glory of summer, and I still haven’t finished completely unboxing, unwrapping and unpacking the things I got in June. I guess it’s time to pour out a glass of ice cold lemonade, cue up an uplifting playlist on my iPad and get to work writing.

I wanted to share with you these new items I got from RoseGal because I was really surprised of how cute, chic and inexpensive they were. This is my first experience with them and I am very pleased. Especially the yellow cardigan and the black club dress have quickly become my favorite and I’ve already wore the dress a couple dozen times.

The dress is sexy without revealing too much and super comfortable while still being breathable for the long hot summer days. The high slit on the leg gives it that air of sophistication. I also love that it can be dressed up with a pair of heels, a statement necklace and a glam belt for the perfect dinner or night out with the girls, or dressed down for brunch or shopping with a pair of cute flats, a wrap belt and an oversized bag.

Now let’s talk about this gorgeous yellow mustard sweater that is as soft and comfortable as it is rich in color and uniquely designed. What I love the most about it is the cute lace peek-a-boo at the elbows and at the end of the sleeves. Even though I won’t be able to wear it for a few months (unless we get a cold wave), I got it with autumn in mind when I will pair it with my mustard suede bag, flared (or skinny) dark navy jeans and platform heels. I can also imagine how lovely and feminine it would look worn with a flowy white skirt in either lace or pleated chiffon.

Last but not least, I adore this gorgeous rhinestone choker that makes me feel so glamorous every time I wear it. Works the best with tops or dresses that have a deep V cut.
