I’m counting a few months since I’ve started being part of the Inflenster network and I must say I really love it! I already received a couple of VoxBoxes and participated in fun and exciting contests. The latest VoxBox I received for testing purposes was a very cool Lancome box, packed full of goodies. What I got:
- Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil™ in Ampoulé and Noir Intense
- Lancôme Définicils Mascara
- Lancôme Le Sharpener
- Lancôme Visionnaire Yeux – Eye On Correction™ (travel size)
- Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover (travel size)
I got to start by saying that I have used the Lancome Bi-Facil Makeup Remover for months now prior to getting it complimentary from Influenster, and I love it. I can’t rave enough about it!
I have tried tons of makeup removers and none work as great as Bi-Facil. It just melts away all the makeup, including the very stubborn one or waterproof makeup, in one swipe. I use to always have to use multiple makeup pads to take off my makeup, waste minutes and I still always had residue left behind, like traces of mascara for example. You probably know the feeling of taking your makeup off at night and thinking your face is clean, only to wake up with black mascara circles under your eyes the next morning. Well, not anymore!! I’m so glad I found this, it goes straight to my “holy grail” products list.
Now let’s talk about the Drama Liqui-Pencil. First of all, I love how creamy the texture is. It just glides on the skin, making it very easy to tightline or use under eyeshadow.
It doesn’t smudge or budge for hours, even when rubbing your eyes vigorously. It’s definitely as pigmented as a liquid eye liner, and I love that the Noir Intense really is very intense and matte.
My only “con” for this would be that it’s a little harder to draw a sharp and thin wing on a cateye look, but you can always finish the wing with an actual liquid eyeliner.
The Lancome Definicils Mascara made my lashes long and natural looking, without clumping. It doesn’t add volume, instead it’s great for length and definition! It’s a fairly black mascara, not the most intense black ever, especially if you are used to the “blackest black” type of mascaras. I usually use L’Oreal mascara, but I would consider purchasing this if I had the chance.
Here is my finished look using the Drama Liqui-Pencils and the Definicils Mascara.
I usually use Hyaluronic Acid based eye creams because of dark circles concerns, fine under-eye lines and slightly hooded eyelids that I’ve been trying to “lift” through plumping eye creams. Yet, I’ve still been searching for a holy grail eye cream for years and this cream is IT! I love the texture and the smell and I instantly see a difference in my skin after applying it. LOVE it!
